Shipping & Delivery Policy
1. Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 2-4 business days after payment has cleared, subject to stock availability and FCA compliance requirements.
- Firearm and ammunition orders may require extended processing times due to licensing and transfer procedures.
- Orders are not processed, shipped, or delivered on weekends or South African public holidays.
- During peak demand periods, processing and delivery may take longer. Customers will be notified of any significant delays via email or telephone.
2. Delivery Areas & Restrictions
- We deliver throughout South Africa using trusted courier partners.
- Firearms and ammunition are delivered exclusively via licensed firearm couriers, in compliance with the Firearms Control Act (FCA).
- Ammunition, powders, and primers cannot be shipped and must be collected in person from a designated dealer or collection point.
- Delivery to PO Boxes is not available; a valid physical street address is required.
- International shipping of firearms, ammunition, and restricted parts is not permitted. Accessories may be shipped internationally on request, subject to quotation and compliance with import/export laws.
3. Delivery Fees
- A flat-rate courier fee applies to small parcels within standard weight and volume limits (e.g., accessories).
- Purchases of firearms, ammunition, or large/heavy items (such as safes or rifle cases) require case-by-case shipping quotations.
- Free shipping promotions do not apply to firearms, ammunition, or restricted items.
- Additional delivery fees may apply for remote or outlying areas.
4. Delivery Times & Tracking
- Once dispatched, deliveries to metropolitan areas are generally completed within 1-3 working days. Outlying areas may take 3-7 working days.
- Firearm deliveries depend on FCA licensing and courier processes, and may take longer than standard parcels.
- A shipment confirmation email with tracking details will be sent once the order has been dispatched.
- Delivery times are estimates only and may vary. Auction Armoury is not responsible for courier delays beyond our control.
5. Risk & Damages
- Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon confirmed handover in compliance with FCA procedures (firearms/ammunition) or upon delivery by courier (accessories).
- Auction Armoury is not liable for loss, theft, or unauthorised use of products after delivery has been confirmed.
- If products are damaged or lost during transit, customers should immediately contact the courier to lodge a claim and notify Auction Armoury.
- Please retain all packaging materials and damaged items when lodging a claim. Auction Armoury will assist in facilitating claims where possible, but is not liable for courier negligence.
6. International Shipping
- Auction Armoury does not export firearms, ammunition, or restricted items outside South Africa.
- Accessories may be shipped internationally by request, subject to quotation and applicable customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees.
- All international orders are final and non-returnable, except where required by law.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring correct shipping details for customs clearance. Auction Armoury is not liable for delays, additional charges, or failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
